My name is Samiha Rehmtulla. I am an Early Childhood Educator and a Montessori Directress. I have over twelve years of experience in the field. I worked for various childcare centers after graduating. I loved my job and I wanted to give something more-something a little extra to the children that I saw was missing at the various centers I had worked.
My love for children and passion for teaching sparked me and I established Panorama Ridge Montessori in September 2007 when I was expecting my third child. I started school with 8 children including two of my own. In 2012, I am honored to say that 30 children graduated from the program and 50 families were part of the preschool community.
Panorama Montessori is well appreciated within the community and is a balanced program. I teach using Montessori methods in a combination of open-ended activities inspired by the philosophies of Reggio Emilia. In a combination with these two methods, children not only learn, but they also love to learn. Their natural curiosity drives them to learn more and the teacher is a guide, that observes, documents, and provides opportunities to satisfy the natural curiosity to explore.
I am a busy mum of four children, but once again my passion and the inspiration from the community have encouraged me to establish Kidzville Learning Centre that embraces the same methods of teaching and learning. Kidzville programs began in September 2013 and we offer Infant-Toddler program, full-day programs for 3-5yr olds with integrated preschool, preschool only program, reading programs, and Out of school programs.
At my Centres, we treat children with respect and kindness and allow them the freedom to explore while they learn. Our school is aesthetically pleasing and filled with interesting learning material to capture a child’s attention and further develop their abilities.
I am very passionate about the programs that I offer and hope that together we can make a difference in your child’s life and create beautiful memories that they will cherish forever.
Sincerely,
